Before your appointment, we encourage you to contact your insurance carrier and ask:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?
  • When does my deductible reset?
  • What will I be responsible for after insurance pays?
  • Do I need a referral from my primary care provider?

Card on File

A valid card on file is required for all patients. By providing a card on file, you authorize Maryland Wellness & Psychiatry to charge for co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles, and any outstanding balances.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a $75 cancellation or no-show fee.
