About Maryland Wellness and Psychiatry

Ritu Goel, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She began her journey to psychiatry as a registered nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2006. She spent 14 years gaining clinical experience working with adolescent and adult inpatients and in emergency departments and correctional facilities. After helping people bedside and working with multidisciplinary teams treating various psychiatric disorders, she realized this was her passion and advanced her career as a PMHNP-BC.

Rebecca Adeyoola, CRNP, PMHNP-BC

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I started my journey in mental health with United Cerebral Palsy in 2009 as a mental health coordinator for adults with mental health challenges. I worked as a registered nurse at the University of Maryland Hospital and Sinai Hospital, where I developed a great passion and interest in mental health. Due to my love for mental health, I advanced my education to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC. I work at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, where I engage in patient-centered care for various psychiatric illnesses and provide treatment plans, evaluations, medication management, and therapy as required

Ritu assesses and treats adults and young adults suffering from substance abuse, anxiety, and depression, as well as several disorders including, but not limited to:
